Because many locksmiths have desired to put a Clearstar Network logo on the home page of their LockSiteŽ, we have made some alternate home pages which replace the blushing man with the Clearstar logo.

Because there are two types of CSN members, CSM and CCSM we offer both alternatives. Because some of you may want the logo to be a link to Clearstar and some may not want that, we also present both of those options.

Here's the way you make it work! First look at the alternate page by clicking on the logo of your choice below. When done, use your 'back' button to return to this page. If you decide you like it and want it for your LockSiteŽ home page, right click the word DOWNLOAD that follows the logo, then click on 'Save Target as'. It will download to where you tell it on your hard drive. You also have to capture the CSN logo that you have chosen. You can do this by RIGHT clicking on the logo and then selecting 'save as'.

When you get it on your hard drive you MUST do the following steps if you want the LockMakeŽ program to be able to format it for you.

1. Find the directory C:\locksite and copy the CSM or CCSM logo there.
2. Find the directory C:\locksite\template.
3. Rename the file INDEX.HTM to OLDINDEX.HTM.
4. Copy the new index file you downloaded to this directory.
5. Rename that file to INDEX.HTM (upper case is IMPORTANT)
6. Run the LockMakeŽ program again to have it format the new index.
7. When all is done, upload the new INDEX.HTM and the logo to your site.

NOTE: If you do this, you will have to retype the personal information about your company unless you first move the file LOCKSMTH.HTM somewhere else first. LockMakeŽ will presume you want to make a completely new site and overwrite any existing files in the LockSiteŽ directory. When finished you can move the LOCKSMTH.HTM file back to the LockSiteŽ directory.
